Denna helgen är det extra ljus på den här målningen med Vätterns klara vatten.

Den visas just nu, på Art Eindhoven, Nederländerna, en konstmässa. Ett äldre industriområde som byggts om till Art fair. Erbjudandet att ställa ut, var en bonus efter det att bilden deltagit i semifinal i Painting of the year 2021.
Men faktum, bilden såldes i idag lördag morgon, redan kl 9.00, här i Sverige, eftersom jag la ut bilden och berättade om utställningen på Facebook. Ibland går det så lätt…… Jag fick ringa till mässan och be dom markera bilden som såld.

Den fick ett omdöme också: ”water world, wonder world. You would like to dive into oblivion with it. the red-pink color touches are essential in this work. It only makes the work deeply greener. Beautiful shapes in the water. top left perhaps a little too ”stiff”. Here the splashes work well. Here they blend harmoniously into the hole. The figures are beautifully and convincingly painted.Look at the feet of the front swimmer!”

Jag deltog med två tavlor i uttagningen, men, nästan lite konstigt, den som inte kom med i själva uttagningen till tävlingen för Painting of the Year, fick nästan ännu bättre omdöme. Se bilden nedan.

omdöme: ”What a delightfull work! What a wibrant whole. And what craftmanship this was painted with. Great size. The colour are brilliant. and just those remnants of the undertone red especially on the side gives the work a lot of extra. That makes it a painting to the next level.
The shadow makes the figure convincing. That shadow gives the figure body. Those white splatters don´t really have any added value. Because of all those beautiful brushstrokes, they are almost distracling. A real painter has been at work here!”

Lite tillägg, om du brukar läsa bloggen, så minns du nog att tavlorna var utställda i Helsingborg, på Dunkers kulturhus förra våren. vissa bilder får mer uppmärksamhet än andra.
